He attributed low sperm count as the major cause of break up in marriages adding that most people believe that women are always the cause of infertility and not the other way round.
But Dr. Fordjour believes that men are also a contributing factor to that effect because of the activities they find themselves.
Research has shown that male fertility starts to decline in the mid thirties which affects the quantity and quality of sperm.
He revealed to Adom FM's Midday News 'Kasiebo is tasty' that he always get cases of low sperm count from men at the hospital and that made him believe that men are the real cause of infertility.
“Most of the men who come to the hospital always come with the problem of low sperm count. In every one million of sperm, a man should at least get 20 million sperm which is the minimum because that 20 million can impregnate a woman.”
He however cited infections through sexually transmitted diseases and excessive drinking of alcohol as some causes of low sperm count in men.
Dr. Fordjour therefore advised men not to involve themselves with multiple of women and also be vigilant.
