Jacobu SHS board members and staffs hospitalized after eating fufu with light soup

Some board members and staff of the Jacobu Senior High School (SHS) in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region have been hospitalized.

The plight of the victims, a board member of the school, Christiana Nyamesi said begun after they ate fufu with light soup.

“After eating the food, I didn’t feel anything at the moment but I started experiencing a serious running stomach around 1:00 am at dawn and so it got serious and I was rushed to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital before I realized that my colleague board members together with some staffs had also been hospitalized for the same problem...,” she explained.

Christiana Nyamesi noted that the matron who did the cooking has also been hospitalized.
