NPP Congress: Six delegates can't find their names in Manhyia North voters register

Reports reaching Adomonline.com indicates that 6 delegates have been removed from the album, thus preventing them from casting their votes.
According to our Ashanti Regional correspondent, Erastus Asare Donkor, one woman who is part of the six delegates, known as Mama China alleged that they were disenfranchised because they had intentions of voting for Nana Addo.
He reported that the Electoral Commission (EC) representative at Manhyia North said delegates who are supposed to vote are 508 and could not fathom why the 6 delegates have been disenfranchised.
He continued that the chairman of the Manhyia North constituency said they have reported the problem to the regional level and are working to solve the situation.
But the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly knwon as Chairman Wontumi attributed the errors of the original albums to printing works.
He said on Adom TV that he would make sure these problems are solved.
About 140,000 delegates in 275 constituencies are casting their ballot to select one of three aspirants to lead the party to the 2016 Presidential election.
Two time flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is facing stiff opposition from former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen and MP, Francis Addai Nimoh.
